Fredrick lives with his parents and four siblings in Mombasa, Kenya. Both parents lost their jobs due to the poor economic situation in Kenya, and the family now depends on donations from the neighborhood to survive. From time to time the father sells water but when it is dry and there is a drought the family has no income. Despite the problems, the family keeps together and doesn’t lose hope.
Fredericks’s dream is to become a vet later because he loves animals and wants to take care of them. His favorite color is black as it is in the national flag and represents him and his friends and families. He likes school because he learns a lot and has the opportunity to have a good future so he can help his family.
