John lives with his mother and two siblings in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. His parents separated six years ago due to alcohol problems. Since then, his mother has been doing occasional jobs to support the family. John says that there is a lot of drug abuse and crime in his neighborhood.
John would like to be a soldier when he grows up because he wants to protect his country. In his spare time, he loves to draw. John’s favorite color is green because it symbolizes the importance of protecting the environment. What he likes about School is that he learns new things.
