Judith lives with her father and 4 siblings in the Soweto slums in Nairobi, Kenya. As a bodaboda (bicycle cab) driver, her father earns money to finance the family’s needs. Due to the Corona pandemic, Judith’s father lost his job a year ago and her mother left the family. This loss, among other things, worsens the financial situation so that the father cannot finance school for all the children. She sadly tells us that her older brother got priority and she could not go to school after 8th grade.
Judith’s dream is to become a good doctor and to support sick people and her father in such situations. Her biggest hobbies singing and dancing helps her to gain inner strength and calmness, which is reflected in her favorite color blue. She misses her friends and the music festivals at her school and wishes very much to be able to visit the school again.
