Hi, my name is Lea Sophie Kabitzsch, I am 25 years old, grew up in Berlin and successfully completed my dual business studies in marketing and management in 2019. Shortly after graduating, I went to Africa for half a year, worked as a volunteer in the slums of Nairobi and discovered my own heart project. I started looking for school sponsorships for children from poor backgrounds to give them a future. The project received a lot of interest and enthusiasm, so I decided to make it official. Now, 1.5 years later, we have a non-profit association in Germany and an NGO in Kenya. The work is a lot, but indescribable Seeing these children with a smile and giving them a future is undoubtedly one of the best feelings I have ever experienced. My goal is to make this passion my profession and to enable children from poor backgrounds worldwide to receive a school education.
In order to bring our school children safely from home to school and back, we need a school bus.
Â
To provide our school with enough electricity we would like to install six solar panels on the roof.
Â
To keep our kids entertained during the break we would like to install a slide in our courtyard.
Â
To keep our kids entertained during the break we would like to install a swing in our courtyard.
Â
We would like to teach our kids to grow their own vegetables and therefore we would like to have five high beds in our courtyard.
Â
Schoolbook: 5,00 € per book
Little shelf: 3,00 € per child
Pencils: 1,60 € for 10 pencils
Â
To always know the time (and knowing when you're to late for class) we would like to install a school clock.
Â
We would like to say thank you to all the sponsors and place a sign in front of the school to appreciate the donations properly.
Â
For the roof of the school, we would like to install iron sheets, with an individual value of 13.00 €. Further costs arise during the assembly.
